Privacy policy

 

What information do we gather on our site?

If you register as a RPC candidate online, we gather the following information:
• Your name and personal details (including Equal Opportunities information)
• Your contact information (address, phone, e-mail)
• Your professional history/CV
• Your work and salary preferences
Additionally, we may conduct periodic surveys of our user base, requesting a wider range of demographic information. Users will always have the option to opt-out of these surveys.

We give all registering candidates the option of opting out of our e-mail marketing campaigns.
 
Who is collecting the information?

All data collection and storage is done in-house by RPC.
 
With whom is my information shared?

We do not sell, rent, share, trade or give away any of your personal information to any third parties. However, with permission from the candidate, we will forward relevant candidate details to prospective employers, who are clients of RPC.
 
Will I get junk mail from 3rd parties?

If you are a registered user, under normal circumstances you will receive occasional e-mails asking you if you are still seeking employment and be asked to complete occasional marketing surveys for RPC. On registration you are given the option to 'opt-out' of these services.

If you set up a job alert you will also receive e-mails advising you of vacancies that match your tailored requirements as frequently as your require.Your personal e-mail address will not be given out to third parties without your prior permission.
 
What are my choices regarding use of my information?

There is a minimum level of information required to facilitate job searches or registration, as noted on the CV builder as mandatory fields. Any secondary communications or requests for additional information (surveys, promotions, etc.) will be optional (i.e. you may choose simply not to respond or participate or opt out of being contacted by e-mail from the outset).
We also have provided the ability for you to undertake a psychometric test which you may take for your own purposes of employers may request you take. You will be able to store the results on our site for future reference

 
How can I update or correct my information?

All users may edit any or all of their information from our database at any time by accessing their account using their self-selected user name and password and making any desired changes.
 
How will I know of any changes in your privacy policy?

If there is any change in our Privacy Policy, we will notify users by way of a note on our home page.
 
Is the RPCushing website secure?

RPC is committed to the security of customer information and we have security procedures in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under pfj's control.

The only people who can currently access your details are our team of recruitment consultants and our technical partners. We do not allow any third party access to your personal information without your express permission. If we did so we would break the conduct of regulations of our industry regulator and also the Data Protection Act.
