Handset Sector Lead - Analytics - Telecoms

RPCushing are working in partnership with this leading name in the research world, looking to recruit a Handset Sector Lead into their Surrey office.

This role wits within a very specialist team of analysts carrying out in-depth analysis on the companies sell-out data and triangulating it with external data points to explain and anticipate developments in the technology-device marketplace. The team aims to offer sell-out data to deliver timely, primary and incremental research to decision makers in the technology goods industry. Clients include major branded and supply chain manufacturers as well as investors. The team works internationally from offices in England, America and Asia and has seen massive growth in revenues since their conception in 2002.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent academic background with a degree and preferably a postgraduate qualification in a numerate discipline. You will have demonstrable experience of analytical research strategies and be able to disseminate the necessary information to provide actionable insight to C-Level executives. Ideally you will have solid working knowledge of the telecoms sector, fixed line, broadband or mobiles. This role will involve leadership and mentoring of team members. The role involves travel and a car allowance is provided, there is also massive growth planned for the department so plenty of room for internal progression.
