
Our client is a major publisher who combines a strong publishing heritage with digital platforms and entrepreneurial flair. Many of their titles are recognisable by their household names! Currently they are searching for an Insight Researcher to provide ad focused insight and research to the Ad Sales team across both print and digital, enabling them to successfully exploit selling opportunities.
*Conducting ad effectiveness research (with questionnaires)
*Conducting reader/user research and formulating sales arguments
*Incorporating publishing and editorial research into sales materials
*Providing assistance and guidance on both regular and ad hoc projects to support the requirements of the Ad Sales teams
*Assisting in the development and maintenance of the ad marketing toolkit: the tools and processes that help the Ad Insight team perform their role (e.g. training programmes, induction packs, regular reporting)
*Providing training for the Ad Sales teams on key systems (and surveys) to include: NMR, IMS, Ad Relevance and comScore, ensuring sales teams can conduct basic analysis to support their selling activities through on the job coaching
You will need to demonstrate:
*Sufficient understanding of research processes and techniques, to include experience of questionnaire/survey writing, design and presenting.
*Experience of industry research tools, systems and information sources such as: IMS (NRS, TGI, YTGI, TGI.NET), NMR (MMS, Medialog, MedClass, Ad Dynamix), Ad Relevance, comScore, Google Analytics, Survey Monkey, SPSS, Mediatel, Mintel and WARC.
