
A leading research agency, is looking for an Associate Director to join their innovative Media team, working a wide range of qualitative projects. The company boasts a friendly environment, that is professional and offers real career progression. This role is based in London.
In this role, you will be part of a small team, focusing on Media and Digital areas, working closely with the Director and other team members. The Director takes on responsibility for driving sales, however, this role will play a part in helping to generate new business from new and existing clients. You will be responsible for taking projects from proposal stage, overseeing the management of the project through its life cycle, through to delivering actionable insights to the clients. You will be required to take on fieldwork (including focus groups and ethnography) and will be tasked with coming up with new and creative ways to carry out the research.
You will have the opportunity to work within gaming, entertainment, TV, product development, music, radio and online. You will be focused on a range of methodologies, that are new and interesting, and help to uncover the key messages that the client is looking for. Clients range from large to small media owners.

The idea candidate will have a strong background in qualitative research, with the ability to run complex projects from inception through to completion. You will have a proven track record in qualitative methodologies, and will be able to take the lead and build up strong client relationships. You should be someone who wants to work on different things, and is open to new ideas. Experience in Media and Digital is preferable but is not essential (a strong interest is).
